Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I am not sure I quite understand the behavior of the enable/disable option in the latest version.

Disabling works as I would expect it to... data flow stops from that component onwards and several components following the disabled component turn orange.

But when I enable a component which was previously disabled, the data flow does not seem to start, as in, the orange components do not turn gray again. I have also tried to "rebuild solution" but to no avail. The only thing that seems to work is if I shut down GH and Rhino and "reboot" the entire model.

Has anyone had better luck with enabling/disabling?

I had the same experience. Figured it was bug, but didn't report it. Luckily the recent file menu made it easy to do quick close and reopen.
Hi Sameer,

I found this same bug as well. I think it's to do with input parameters somehow getting stuck in "I'm not getting out of bed" mode. If you change the wires of the input parameters things typically get going again. This will be fixed for the next release obviously.

Thanks guys... happy to know that I am not the only one!

Looking forward to the next release. Should we be expecting one soon?
It's already overdue, but Christmas shopping and snow clearing has set me back a few days.
