Edit Strings in Lists?

Hi,

i have a question about Strings in lists:

imagine on index 0 in a list i have the following string: 0.1344565142452462313,0.762534365768

what i want now is a list with 2 items, for example index 0 should have this: 0.1344565142452462313 and index 1 this: 0.762534365768 

Is there any way to do that? can i use scripts like the unix sed in grasshopper? (

sed '1,/^$/d')

split text with a coma should do this
