algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Downloading Grasshopper to a network?

is this possible?

 

I have currently introduced rhino and grasshopper to my firm and am going through the installation process.  We have the Zoo and currently 1 license of rhino which we can now share over the network.

 

I am wondering if we have to download grasshopper on each machine we want to use it on or can we just have grasshopper on the network server?

Hi Ryan,

 

windows doesn't like to load dlls over a network, I very much doubt you'll be able to make that work.

 

In addition, Grasshopper is still in Beta and might be subject to breaking changes at every release. I think it would be a disservice to force every new release onto people, let them upgrade at their own pace.
