Double Click to open key word search Not Working?

Hi Nick,

 

I doubt I can say much without getting you a special build that logs all the steps taken upon a double click. Since this is not a critical bug, let's wait until the next version goes out. Then please post the problem again and I'll get going on a customized build.

 

ps. Do any of the other double clicks work?

Hi David, 

  Thanks for a quick reply. Yes other double clicks work. Is there another way to find tools. For example I am having a hard time finding two of the commands you listed in your webinar:

1. move

2. point on curve

 

As a fluent rhino user not being able to find these simple commands are frustrating.

Hi David and Nick

 

Correct me if i am wrong Nick but i am guessing you are trying to double left click on the canvas over a group that you has changed the boundary to wrap to the components.

 

As right double click (find) seems to work over a group that the boundary has been wrapped to the components within the group would it be possible for the next build to make left double click (search) do the same as current does nothing over a wrapped group.

Oh I see. That is indeed a bug. I'll get it fixed.

 

Edit: fixed. This was actually a problem with all objects that do not have a rectangular outline.
