Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I regularly get the pointer turning into a double arrow, and nothing except shutting down GH makes it go away.

This funny pointer can not select, so there's no choice but to go through the close / re-open process.

Please tell me I'm not the only one going through this !

Really ?

I'm the only one who gets the double arrow treatment ?

I haven't heard of if before. People have problems minimizing/retrieving the GH window, but sizing cursors are new.

Does it only happen when there are resizable objects on the canvas? I realise almost every GH file will have at least one slider or panel, so the answer is probably yes...

Happens all the time, not new at all.  On rare occasions, I accidentally found the same spot (with the mouse) where it got confused and the behavior has stopped without restarting Rhino/GH.

By the way, I don't have NVidia graphics.

So is that when you mouseover a resizable edge of an object like a panel or a quickgraph?

I can't duplicate it but yes, it would most commonly be a panel.  Probably has to do with dragging an edge while the machine is compute-bound and unresponsive; when it wakes up, it is confused about that cursor and useless.  Unless, as I said, you go back to that panel and then, sometimes, it seems to recover.  Very longstanding bug.
