algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hello all

could someone help me understand how can i make it from a surface into a a grid of smaller surfaces that i can individually use?

in addition, how can i write it so that the bigger rib would be devided by the bigger factor?

thanks

Hi Noam,

Hope this help you

hello Yasser,

thanks - thats a big step for me

maybe you could attend this one:

how do i distinguish between a bigger U or V?

that is, how do i match the "shortest one" to the low value between U and V?

i think this requires a IF THEN condition, but i couldnt really figure out how to do that.

thanks again!

Use stream filter after the conditional (false = 0, true = 1)

still no go:

u and v still need to be change depending on the surface's direction.

im trying to fix is to that the low result will always find its way to the shorter measurement between U and V.

currently still needs manual switching (or surface 90 degree rotating)

I think you have reversed surface, try to dir > SwapUV the surface in rhino or use custom component from David. It should been released in latest version, I couldn't find out and also flip surface component still not work in latest GH version.

EDIT: not flip, but dir > swapUV
