Dividing a plot in smaller with same area

Hello friends,

I am trying to make plots with similar area and nice proportion, from two curves, which represent the limits of the street. 

For two lines parallels or closely parallels, it works perfect. For forced  curves... it doesnt.

I havent reached any good conclusion. I guess it shouldnt be so difficult. What do you think?

This is more aproximated but still not a good solution

I'm not quite sure this is what you want.

It is always tricky when you try to divide evenly where there are a lot of bented corner areas.
