algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Dividing a Lofted Surface from Curves

I have lofted a surface from offset curves, now I want to divide that entire surface (to make vertical lines) in the V direction, but it wont allow me to do it.

It seems to be dividing the original curves not the surface....

 any ideas?
