For example, I want to divide a surface in a way that each piece's length is 2 feet. What should I do?
Do you want squares?

Is your surface flat (or cylindrical)? Developable?
It may be tricky otherwise...

Can you post your surface as a .3dm or as a screenshot please?
My surface is not flat and that is the problem.
I attached the surface for you.
Square sounds good, but is there any way to control both U and V?

Thanks,

Hi Adeleh

What out put do you want from the divided surface a set of points like surface divide, a set of surfaces like iso trim or a set of iso curves or even all 3.

Matt
It looks like the surface in your file is a straight extrusion from a curve.
You could create the surface in GH and start by doing a a normal "Divide Length" on the original curve.
Hi Adeleh,

Does this help? (see attached file)
