divided surface following a point

Hi everyone,

My question is, how can you divide a loftsurface and let these points follow another point (like the sun)

I am trying to create a parametric tower which follows the sun, so that most of the surface have an optimal position for the sun. So the most energy can be generated. 

My grasshopper file contains the sun from ecotect.

I am trying to get the principle of how to do it, so i attached a more simplified file.
