algorithmic modeling for Rhino

divided faces in solid difference

I have a question about Solid Difference.
First I create a circle and then extrude it, theres a seam (i marked in red)

And when I make a solid difference with an extruded rectangle, there's a face divided.

How can I avoid that seam?

You can move your seam position of your circle to the side for a second.

Also in this case you could use the "Merge Faces" component after the extrusion.
