i do no know how to use your file. it is not look like a usual gh file. it containe script code.

Hello ladan,
As you can see from this picture I have used native components in grasshopper.
You will select a surface and geometry to repeat on this surface.
I downloaded the file I posted and it works well.

Here is an update of the file. The Z boxes is controlled by the value of the Z boundingbox of the object to be repeated.
