divide pipe in equal spaces

This might be a start.  Selection of  the alternate segments could probably be tweaked.

Hi Pieter,

It is almost working as I need.

Each section of the pipe I divided in 15 pieces and I have to select some 2 of them. always in the same position. It would be for instance always piece 1 and 3 of each ring. 

The problem is that the index is a mess and the pieces 1 are not in the same position in each ring.

Atatched is the definition
