Divide multiple curves and shatter

I'm attempting to divide a set of curves randomly and then shatter them at the resulting point locations. So far I've only been able to get a list of points that will not project onto the curve set to complete the cuveCP command (they do not align). I'm not sure how to evaluate the curves at these locations. At this point I'm assuming that my data are not aligning somehow since I've attempted various flattening and grafting combinations without success.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

That's perfect! Thank you so much for the help and the super quick turnaround. I'm still trying to sort out why an extra set of culling is needed but it appears very straightforward.
