algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey Ladies and Gentlemen!

I have a problem and I hope you can help me.

I have a curve, which I want to divide in segments. That sounds easy, but the problem is that the segemnts have different lengths. I wolud like to divide the curve like this: The first segement is the smallest one and then they get bigger and bigger. At the middle of the curve there is the largest segement and then they get lesser and lesser. You can also see what I mean on the picture below. What can I do to reach something like this?

I hope someone can help me!

Thanks!

Best wishes from Germany

This could be one way.

How long should the shortest one be? How long the longest? Should it be fully symmetric? Or do you want to divide into a fixed number of segments where the relative lengths differ by some exact equation?
