divide a curve gradient style

hi,

maybe someone could help me out with the script attached. it divides a given curve by a gradient (graph mapper) and does circles at the points (size also with control of garph mapper).

so it does not work with every curve, why ? - and fails if i rebuild curve.
so maybe someone has got a more simple solution than mine - would be very interresting and teachful for me

Not sure if you uploaded the right definition as I couldn't see a graph mapper on the canvas. It's probably also best to use a curve (param) component so that you can 'Reparameterize' the curves first.

Hi dcay

I see that you have created a list of curve parameters to then generate divide points on a curve. One thing to keep in mind is to check input curve parameterization. You should find out curve domain to make sure that you parameter list is within that domain (or between 0-1 if you reparameterize the curve).

This will help ensure that you get good answer with any input curve.
