algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi:  This seems to be a simple case but I'm stumped.

Given a set of Geom (points, lines, mesh, etc) and an arbitrary line,

how would I distribute each successive object along that line a given distance.

Thanks Danny:  The move method works as expected.  The orient method isn't or I don't get it (not unlikely at my age). For the geometry input use any set of the curves for the plane curve use either vertical line.

With the orientation of your curve you will need to use the Perp Frames component but also because they're not at the origin you need to specify a plane to go from.

Lastly there are lost of curves in your component If you want all of them to move as one you will need to group them.

Thanks Danny, it was the Pframes that I didn't think of.  I do want to move them individually but thanks for the hint about groups.  I'm playing with contour lines on terrain maps so this is a common problem.
