algorithmic modeling for Rhino
I have no idea. I can't even get them to combine in Windows Character Map. Can you paste the combined character in a response here so I can copy it to see what it's made of?

Yeah that is indeed unpasteable in the Text Panel. It always separates them. But then Character Map also doesn't allow it, nor does Visual Studio (but Notepad works). I have no idea whether the GDI+ string drawing routines even allow for this and I can't find anything directly relevant on the web about this either...

I need actual text to copy/paste. I cannot copy the character from an image.

There are a lot of different ways in which text is defined in computers historically. Old systems fell short as more and more characters were needed. Thus ASCII was replaced with Extended Ascii, which was never a standard. Then Unicode, UTF8, UTF16, UTF32. Upshot is that the same text data displays in different ways on different Operating Systems and applications. It could be a problem with fonts, Open GL, the graphics driver, the way Rhino handles text, the way Rhinocommon sends text from .NET to C++....
Can you create a Rhino text object with the ḡ character in it which displays correctly? If not, then the problem is most likely part of Rhino.
