Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

 HI everyone,

I made a shelter structure which can do both rising up and fanning out from a 2-d flat piece. I need help on correctly applying this formation from a 2-D to a 3-D formation of rising up and fanning out. As well as knowing how to start attaching fabric to this ribbed structure where it knows that based on when the fabric gets stretched out, it will know when to drape before fanning out. The way that this fabric needs to be wrapped is in a 2-layer concept with the idea of each rib being calculated between each rib in a spacial manner. The ribs also need to be snug between the 2-layer fabric giving this notion of a bat wing with the fabric as its thin membrane skin and ribs as the bat's arms.

Thank you so much for helping, this has been a very complicated idea and project! I appreciate anyone who can try and help.

Thanks again!
