Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hello, grasshopper newbie here. I was wondering what the difference between Shift Paths and Flatten is? They seem to do pretty much the same thing.

Thanks very much.

Flatten puts all data into a single list. Shift paths modifies all the paths by removing the last index. If all the paths are identical except for the last number, then indeed these two components will yield the same result.

Otherwise they will act differently.

Thanks David!
