Diagrid Structure using Weaverbird

I have an existing 3D volume that I have to create a diagrid truss system for. I'm relatively new to Grasshopper and just started using Weaverbird today so I'm not sure what the best process would be. So far I've only seen tutorials for Weaverbird using 2D curves to generate a grid, but I have to work with my specific volume.
