develop a grasshopper plug in

Hello everyone

I'm new to developing for Grasshopper in C#, and I would like to know how to make a Grasshopper plug in. How can I build my custom components into a custom plug-in? There are wizards for VS to write Rhino plug ins but the extension is .rhp, and a Grasshopper plug in must have a .gha extension, is this correct? Are there any guides out there that I can check?
