algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi
i am trying to perforate a surface
i have obtained a series of points on which i have extruded my circles but i would like to ignore those two that are at the edges of the surface.
how do I do that
I am new in grasshopper, I hope someone can help.perforation1.3dmperforation%20beams.gh

Sorry, I didn't open your definition. But if you use Curve Closest Point, you can check the distances from the points to the surface edges, then split the list of points by which ones fall within a certain distance from the edge.

thanks a lot.
i am having another problem and I have a feeling that it could be solved in a similar way
basically I have these circles created from points
when i backed them I get a lot more than i am supposed to. some are duplicates and i remove them from rhino (seldup) but some are probably just a tiny bit off so i dsont know how to select them and delete them..
maybe there is a way to select some near surfaces by setting a range?
I cant figure out why gh is baking duplicates anyways but i guess its useful to know how to select near surface anyways for future issues as well.
