algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys!

I'm trying to map a cloud of points on a surface using a delaunay and remap tis on my surface but it doesen't work as i want.

I should abotain a nice grid of triangles and all i have is a strange mapping.

Hope you can help me!

You won't get nice triangles because you're solving the delaunay may in surface UV space. Since the surface UV domain has been normalised, it is square, but the surface is anything but square.

I baked your surface, used the Rhino _Reparameterize command with the Automatic option to create U and V domains that more closely resemble the surface's physical dimensions, then the triangulation is much better behaved. However you'll still have the problem with the seam.

I used the rebuild surface from Lunchbox and now it works fine without baking using the _Reparameterize command in Rhino!
