algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hey,
another question about triangles. The attached files show a triangulated grid. I want to deform it randomly in the XY direction, maybe also if possible in the Y direction like in the attached pic. Just to get a irregularity in the facade, like in the example of NL-Architects and their Silo Project. Well I guess they did the transformation manually, I don't know?!
Maybe someone has an idea how to handle it? Any ideas and help is appreciated!!

Hi sebastian,
did you work with kangaroo yet? i am new to kangaroo, so i cant give you detailed information for your problem, but you could create forces, which are pulling your grid in directions you want...
and i bet there are possibilities, to let these forces act "randomly" on several points of your grid...
may the force be with you!
i think that you just have to triangulate the surface, anstead of subdividing!

because of kangaroo..
maybe you are able to bind the tuts. above with daniel def. (nervsys.ghx, nervsys.3dm)

the link works, if you write at the end hexagonal.
Thx for your replies!!
The approaches sounds good! I will give them a try the next days, ...
I will post the progress soon! Thx again!
