Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,

I have been trying to create this wavy facade using data trees for the first time.

for some reason the network surface in my script doesn't seem to do much, and also the structure seems to be off the wavy surface. How can I fix this?

Sorry I have been trying all day yesterday to upload the files but it would't work.

Thank you so much!!

Is there a GH file that goes with that?

Hi, I'm trying to find it now as I just realised I ve uploaded the rhino model instead... but it seems that something happened and it got corrupted..

I am going to write the script again and re-upload it.

Thank you so much for the quick response.

this is what I would like to achieve

Just wrote the script again.

Thank you very much! this is my first time using trees and I find them a bit confusing to work with.:)

Also,

if I deselect the geometry in Grasshopper, everything in the rhino file doesn't show.

Do you know how to fix this?

This is brilliant, thank you so much.

I was trying to add structure, therefore I generated that first. I was wondering if there is any way to wrap that surface around the structure?

Because atm that is what it doesn't seem to work in my script.

Thank you so much!!

Hi Diana,

Some thing like this.. See attached ;) I used a little more tree logic to simply the script to minimum I could without changing your workflow.

As for the preview disappearing just click on the selected preview only icon (green/ white cylinder next to the other preview options on the bar above the canvas and turn on the preview for all the things for all the components you have showing.

Hope that helps

Matt
