Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi

I not able to match the scale factors coming out of 2 different datatree

here is the logic i want to use :

I have a list of lines organized in N branches , each one of these branches do have 2 sub-branches

I have 2 scale factors graphted in 2 separate branches 1 and 2

I want all lines on sub-branches 1 to be scaled by scale factor 1 and same for index 2

I am not able to make it happen. If anyone can help I appreciate

This might not be the best solution, but does this work?

Hi dear Kyle and many thanks :)

yes it works and it makes totally sense now !!!

I really appreciate , cheers

Filippo

I wonder if there is path mapping rule that allow matching the 2 scaling factors directly with the list lines and obtain same result ....if i'll find out more i'll post it here, thanx buddy

Here's two more possible ways to go about it.

The Split Tree component specifically may be what you're looking for?
Though it can only handle one mask at a time (so two scale factors)

The top definition only works if the input branches always follows some pattern
