Cut mesh with curve?

you will have to go outside the realm of Native GH for this. I think Lmnts does one http://lmnts.lmnarchitects.com/parametrics/mesh-split-in-grasshopper/

I am not shure but is this function not only for planar meshes?

I have a closed mesh and a closed curve to cut.

You will probably have to create a Mesh Solid from your curve so that you can perform a Mesh Split on it

The mesh and the curve are not planar so that you can't extrude the curve!!
