Custom implementation of GH_ValueList component, RunTime Warnings

Dear David,

I have overridden parts of your GH_ValueList component in order to create my own implementation of it.

However one thing I cannot work out is how to allow the DropDown for runtime warnings.

I have overridden the AllowMessageBallon property to return True, and I do indeed get RuntimeWarnings like seen in the image attached.

However when I click on these warning I get no DropDown, how do I enable this DropDown?

The message widget harvests the warning and error menu items from the object menu. So unless you're adding those to the menu itself, they also won't show when you click on the balloon.
