Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey, I've just created a simple class in Visual Studio and I want to use that in my

VB component. Any ideas how I might do that??

Thanks!

I've pasted the code inside the VB component; kinda cheesy but I think it works

That's certainly one way. A more advanced way would be to compile your class to a dll, then reference that dll in your Script component.

Ok now, how do I reference it  because I can't just use imports etc...

I know, stupid question but I haven't used this before. Oh and one more is there any way to use timers in grasshopper?

I'm trying to create a booking system for various functions (reading rooms, cafes, etc) and simulate that in grasshopper. So I would need the name of that function + start date and end date. I can't do that yet can't I?

References can be made via the menu of the VB and C# components.

Grasshopper has timer objects, you need something beyond this?

I meant reading entries out of a txt file that have a start date and an end date and plugging that into grasshopper so I can run a simulation.

I did it, never mind, stupid question anyway. If you want to know more here's our studio page:
