Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to import a set of curves from FormZ to create a truss system with grasshopper. I want to use a weaverbird picture frame to do this but it will only accept a mesh or list of polylines. Is there any way to convert a curve to a polyline or to use it to form the sides of a mesh? I've attached a picture of what I mean, I'll be using a much more complex curve but it will be the same type of thing as this one - only straight lines that at least *look* like they could be part of a mesh. Thanks!

Hi Matt,
structdrawrhino has components to convert a network of curves to a mesh or set or poly lines, so see if it helps. www.geometrygym.com/downloads
Cheers Jon

Fantastic! Once I cleaned up my original geometry a bit that worked perfectly. I'd recommend that everyone looks into GeometryGym, fantastic plugin. Cheers

Thank you so much for this component!! :D

Hi Jon, thank you for sharing the plug-in! Looks great!
