Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

a curve is defined by series of points and tangents at each point, normal vector at a point.

it´s possible in grasshopper to make a curve given a series of points and his correspondient tangents. a series of points and a series of associated vectors

thx

There is component that allows you to define an intcrv with a series of points and just the first and last tangent called [Interpolate (t)]

thanks but not exactly,

i need to trace a curve with a set of points and their corresponding tangent vectors at each point

Here's an attempt at doing it with a control point curve. But its still only an approximation of the original curve.

Here's whats its trying to achieve. For every point on the original list it creates a symmetrical handle bar to control the Vector. If you could come up with a method of influencing the length of handle bars asymmetrically then you might get a better result.

ok, the question i haven´t any reference curve,

i only have several points on a surface an a determinate vector.

i need something like biarc component but can use a list of points and vectors.

thx anyway
