algorithmic modeling for Rhino

I'm trying to achieve the same "default" results of Rhino 5 BlendCrv command unsuccessfully...

The "Blend" is predictable (for the most part) but not the BlendCrv.

How can I recreate the same math?

Thank you.

Hi Mark,

Try the attached definition. You will need to install GH Python plugin first.

It might be a somewhat tricky, as sometimes you will have to play a bit with your "t1" and "t2" sliders, and sometimes they just need to be equal to 0. Probably there is a way to calculate these factors too - the same way Rhino is automatically doing it. But I have no idea how to do that.

Thank you djordje.

I will try. Never used Python plugin yet.

The Blend uses a division of 3 and 4 of the distance between the endpoints of the two curves for the length of the vectors. The BlendCrv, as you pointed out, leaves me in the dark :).

Thanks again.
