algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi,every one.

I want to choose the point except the edge of grid.

I performed reference of a past article, but cannot read data.

http://www.grasshopper3d.com/forum/topics/cull-edge-points-of-a-gri...

I use ver0.8.0065.

Will you teach a method to choose the point except the edge of grid as?

Hi Masashi,

how are the points in the grid defined? Are they all in a single ordered list? Are they all in a single unordered list? Are they grouped in columns and rows?

As with most things, there are many ways to solve this. Some are simple, some are difficult. Some are simple only if certain conditions are met. For example, if you have a curve which represents the boundary of the grid then it becomes a piece of cake to remove the boundary points, be they stored ordered or unordered.

The more information you can give us regarding your particular problem the larger the chance that a simple solution can be proposed.

Hi david,

The point is on the point of intersection of the grid.

How can you choose the point except the edge of lattice if you do it?

I am not good at much English. But a reply helps it very much.

Thank you.

I challenge it based on this.

If the grid boundary is convex, you can use a Convex hull to determine which points are on the boundary.
