crossing beam following a surface

Hello.

I would like to make a "crossing beam following a surface".

So, it is necessary to give thickness to the image surface.

I challenged using iso curve 、decon plane ,,, but it will not work.

I think it should work if you use UV coordinates +extrude(uv vector)、、、
