Creating thin shells from Lines

Hi all

I'm trying to produce a 3d printed honeycomb using weaverbird pictureframe -> wb thicken mesh as seen in the images below. The issue I'm having is that the thicken mesh produces an uneven thickness.

They get thicker where the surface is convex and thinner at concave areas. My intent is to go from weaverbird's dual mesh curves to 3d printable meshes. I'd like to control, per curve, their height and split them into clusters to be 3d printed. I'm not asking for solutions to all of this but any insight, other plugins, scripts to look into would be appreciated
