Creating Laser Cutter Files From An imported Rhino model

Has anyone come across or created a grasshopper definition that takes an existing rhino model and creates 2d curves for laser cutting files as flat planes aka a model flattener.

Specifically I am trying to import a Revit model into Rhino with walls and have grasshopper convert the model's walls into 2d lines for a laser cutting sheet.

I was looking at a program called "exactflat" ( http://www.exactflat.com/ ) This is exactly what I aim to do or at least some variation of this.

I will give you all the digital hugs I can if any brilliant minds have come across or created this definition.
Happy designing!
Cheers

There was an old-school Rhino plug-in called "Smash" for flattening non-developable surfaces.  Not sure if there's a usable version of this w/ Rhino 5.

Alternatively, look into creating your model out of developable surfaces.  Kangaroo has some recent developments on that front but there have been many discussions and components put out there.

Search for "waffle" in samples and examples forum. Victor has a very good example of this and you might be able to tweak it if you want a solid waffle.
