algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hey guys,

I am having issues With creating horisontal segment between vertical elements.

I have several vertical elements, which have different height. I succeedeed in creating Points on the vertical elements for every 2 meters. Now I have to Connect the Points to create the horisontal elements. I have tried to deconstruct the list of Points and then sort out the point from their z-value. But I cannot make it work.
If I manage this, I also need to create the horisontal segment between them.

Hoping you can help :)

I didnt attach the file, because it is HUGE, and everything is Connected. But I think you will get an idea from the screen shot

You could internalize the 'PCX P' output and give us only that in a GH file to work with.

Thanks Joseph :)

This question, like so many, would be IMPOSSIBLE to answer without seeing the data tree structure of your points/data/model.

Awesome! Thank you very much. This  will for sure help me in the future.

FYI, if you flatten the output and disable preview on both 'PLine's, you will see:

  1. The top-most horizontal is an "Invalid Curve", because its start and end points are the same.  (you can see this by connecting a 'Panel')
  2. Connect the flattened 'PLine verticals' to the "Tree/List" viewer tool I left in the code ('Tree' input) and as you move the 'list idx' slider, notice that the sequence of lines may not be what you expect - center to right, then center to left with the center (tallest) vertical being duplicated.
