algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Creating a modular grid- Can't array modules
Hi guys!
I have designed a modular grid based on the structure of a glass sponge and I want to model it in Grasshopper. I already managed to make the grid's module curves and now I want to expand it on a rectangular grid which is placed on a cylinder. But I'm Having trouble doing it. Here's the grasshopper file.
You can also see the pattern of the grid that I'm trying to make in grasshopper and the base module of this grid (inside the dotted line ) below:

Hi,
Have a look at the Map to Surface component! I think it can do exactly what you're looking for. It remaps curves from a reference to a target surface. You've already established all of your target surfaces from the isotrim, map to surface allows you to take any pattern done once on a "reference" surface and array it along like so. I have attached an example with your file as well.
