you could have a try this.

cool thank you.

i do not understand why not all large triangular surfaces are activated?

any idea?

and still a question.

is it possible to enhance this definition,

so that i can access to all the different surfaces?

a slightly different approach.  This sorts the surfaces first.  Then you could create openings as  was previously suggested.

EDIT: i don't think that using the area of the surface, in this case, will give you the results you want.  Surfaces with the same area doesn't mean that they will always have the same shape.

Perhaps a better approach to isolating the groups of surfaces would be to use the length of the boundary curve of the surface?

many thanks for the explanation and the variation.

:D

Area will only return values within tolerance limits. The equal component is never a good idea when comparing two floating point numbers. Better to calculate the difference and see if the difference is below a set tolerance value.

p.s. hey, this is sidos woman. :)

Great post :)

i have been stayed up until this morning ,so i offered a way and never thought carefully.
