algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi all,
I've been trying to generate a grid from collection of curves using the Divide Distance with Reference component. First, I set all the referenced points by using the ending points of the curves, then connect them into the P input of the component.
However, once it generated a grid, the ending points at the lower floors were gone. I could not understand why those ending points were kept on upper levels while lost near the bottom. I would really appreciate it if you guys can give me some comments about this problem. Thank you so much!

Can you share the GH file?
Hi Anthony,
You are right that a few points are scrambled and its perfectly fine. It's just I have the problem with the starting points disappearing on lower floors (circled in red) while they should show up just like the upper floors
Hi Rajaa, Anthony,
I'm sorry for the late reply. I have attached the GH file here
Hien,
Looks like a bug in the Divide component that it does not include the end point when there is only one point output. I will fix it.
In the meanwhile, I know it is painful to isolate these short segments and add end points.
Hello Rajaa,
I see. I asked Ryan and he helped me bypass the problem by culling 2 set of curves, specify the distances and then re-entwine the 2 sets again.
