algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hi everyone,
I'm struggling here with this problem.
In this attached definition I've assembled a brick wall from a grid of points, all of them in single branch. Now what I want to do is to create new tree branches, each one containing all the points with the same z coordinate.
Hope that I could explain myself clear.
Thanks in advance for your help

If you deconstruct your points and then use the "create set" component based on the z value, it will assign a unique index for each unique value. You can use this index as an input to the replace branches component. The key is to graft your flattened brick dataset and extract the data structure information with the Param Viewer component.
Hi David,
thank you for your reply but there is something that I don´t get it. I don´t understand why the bricks selected are those in darker red instead of those highlighted by the rectangle (because those are the ones with same z value)
Thanks
