algorithmic modeling for Rhino
Hello! I've recently started to work with grasshopper and I'm struggling with (among other things) a creation of an undulating surface out of a set of points.
What I have done so far is divide a surface and deconstruct it to get my points which I then moved with attractor points.
I want to take this new set of points and make a surface. I've used Surface From Points component with the Points input flattened and an expression x+1 for the U input but it results in an error.
Any idea where I messed it up?

Explanation: you worked with quads of points (from subsurfaces) whilst you need just points out of some surface division.
I figured it had something to do with the way I created my points! I tried it by setting a point grid instead and it worked just fine. The Divide Surface, though, is what i actually need since I want to apply the definition to a predetermined shape!
And you LOL option is actually very interesting... You gave me an idea, so I may use it somehow for my upcoming presentation!!!
THANK YOU!
As I said you used all the vertices from the subsurface collection ... meaning many duplicates (ranging from 2 to 4).
That said you should spend some time getting the gist of the DataTrees (ominous and mysterious thingies ... If you ask me, he he).
Welcome to
