Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Attached is a definition with two internalized curves that keeps crashing when opened. I am using GH 0.9.0076

Hello.

I've noticed the same problem.

I built a (huge) GH file with previous versions of GH, then recently updated to 0.9.0076.

If I open my file, save it and close it, I have no problem opening it again.

If I open my file, internalize a curve, save it and close it, it is impossible to open it again. Rhino crashes every time.

I tried the same experiment with another computer with GH 0.9.0075 installed and it works perfectly fine.

So my guess is there is a problem with the internalize function in GH 0.9.0076 ?

There were a grand total of three serious bugs in the internalize code. One in Grasshopper, one in RhinoCommon and one in the Rhino C++ SDK. The ones in RhinoCommon and core SDK have been fixed, but I'm not sure exactly whether they have been released yet as public service releases. The bug in Grasshopper has probably been fixed, but needs further testing. This fix has not yet made it out. I'll so my best to get it ready over the weekend.

Sorry about these crashes in the meantime, I know it's a very important feature that is used a lot. If you haven't already updated to the most recent Rhino service release, please do so now.

Thanks David for the update. I believe I am on the latest release of Rhino 5 SR9.

Yeah this is still crashing even on our internal build of Rhino6. I've narrowed down the problem but I believe it'll require a fix in Rhino core which I don't dare make.

There is now a YouTrack issue for this.
