Grasshopper

algorithmic modeling for Rhino

hi everyone

I am trying to count how many times a circle and near lines intersect, I have tried solving that using python but something goes wrong and I don`t get an output.

Thank you in advance

Why Python?  Move the 'path idx' slider to choose a circle or the 'list idx' slider to highlight one (in yellow) of the intersection points for that circle.

P.S.  Or perhaps, as the thread title says, you want to count lines instead of intersection points?

thank you so much Joseph

Just "Graft" point In curve's C input should work.

thank you for your reply, I have tried it and it works!! I have inserted a new group of lines but for some reason, (for some of the points ) it does not count the exact number of intersections. and it also places an additional point that is not a result of the intersections

any idea?

Your new set of curves, internalized in this copy, appear to work OK with previous version of code, though I had to substantially increase the range of the 'Radius' slider to see the circles.

For some reason, your MCX has generated some duplicated points...

Good catch!  Points 24, 25 and 27 are duplicates.

thank you so much !!
