Converting Gradient Image into 3D

Hi,

I would like to know if there's a way to create meshes from gradient images that I took from Vasari Wind Tunnel.

I added an example of the gradient image where yellow will be the highest part and blue will be the lowest part.

search for heightmap and image sampler.

Unfortunately that will work for greyscale images but mapping onto a coloured gradient is much harder. This too has been done before and there's a file somewhere on this forum which shows how to use [Find Similar Member] in order to find out how far along a certain gradient a colour is.
