Convert Polysurface/Mesh/T-spline Mesh/Open Surfaces into a single, smooth surface

Hey All!

I need a single surface to apply my GH function.  So, How I can get a smooth, single surface from:

_Open mesh

_T-spline Mesh

_T-spline Surface

_Open Poly-surfaces

_Several Single surfaces

Thanks a lot!

Depends on your surface topology, desired precision and other things.

Surface reconstruction is a pretty difficult task and typically involves a lot of manual work. Only very few situations can be successfully automated.

In general, if you end up with multiple sub surfaces in T-Splines, either topology or curvature cannot be adequately approximated with a single surface. There might be other considerations involved in T-Splines  surface tessellation, but they tend to keep the number of sub surfaces at a minimum.
