algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Hi friends!

I'm trying to control the interdistance of objects between one another from a point which I set as the origin. So I attempted with the component "Move Away", which allows me to move 2 mirroring objects away from a point, using a vector to limit the movement in just 1 axis. However, the objects are moving away from each other and also moving upwards at the same time (which is something I don't want). If someone could share me with me a smarter way of working on it, I would gladly appreciate it. Thanks so much in advance :)

Hi,

this is my first time trying to help someone on gh forums, so I am not sure of my solution :)

I think the problem is that move away takes the centroids (?) of the object, which, with different heights can be at different Z value. I tried to remove the Z value from move away but could not find a way to do it.

Instead I went with just vector solution. See the attached files and say if this is what You need to achieve

Cool, thanks for the advice, much appreciated :) however it seems that your slider isnt connect to any component and while the reverse list seems like a good way to go about it, it can't be directly manipulated. is there a way in which we can manipulate it?
