Control grasshopper with your mind !

Some of you might saw it, but I still wanted to share this:

EPOC neuroheadset uses sensors on your scalp which can identify and recognize your brain electric signals thoughts, feelings and expressions and use those "identifications" to connect it with any PC application:

I'm researching about from EEG date to architecture.
I have few question

Still do you have this Grasshopper data?

How did you find out it? From Andrea Grazian?
I went his web page but I couldn't find out it.

How could you receive its UDP out put data?
because I tried to connect as you uploaded image, but I couldn't receive data as your image.

Please help me!
I will get happy if you answer me.

I am afraid, I can't help you. I have never tried this, neither had a chance to put that headset on.

Hi Guys,

get the EPOC data into grasshopper is quite easy.

I use MindYourOSCs to send EPOC data to a specific OSC IP/port and then I use Ghowl to get realtime data into Grasshopper.

Hi, I have done the same as the picture but for some reason I can not connect and wont get any outputs. I noticed the port value for the EEG and the OSC are different. Could that be the case? one is 7400 and the EEG one is 3008. How can I check what is wrong?

Hi Roxana,

I have never tried the upper EPOC neuroheadset personally.
You might try contacting Andrea Graziano, if I remember correctly he even held a workshop related with EPOC.

Any news about what...? As Andrea explained above, you can use the free MineYourOSC application to get the data from Emotiv EPOC or Insight. Here is the correct link:
