algorithmic modeling for Rhino

Contour script for laser cutting

I want to make a card board lamp like this picture.  I know about the contour function in rhino I could use to get the curves I would need, but I was wondering if any one has written a script to lay all the curves out on the 0 Z-plane and label them for laser cutting. Can anyone help me out with this?

Hi Sam,

here is an example, that shows how this can be done with grasshopper in very few steps.

Some components here are used from my toolset called FabTools. It's free to use and you can download many other useful components of the fabtools set from www.food4rhino.com or fabtools.blickfeld7.com.
